and in association with Compagnie Agbo Nkoko (Bénin), Asso Conteurs (Cap Vert),Kiinii Africa (Guinée),LMI (Libéria), Sac à Paroles (Mali), Théâtre du Baobab (Sénégal), Cour des Contes (Togo).
It is an action which gathers many cultural actors around arts in general and the events of tale in particular.
It democratizes the arts and culture by making them accessible to all through stories, myths, diverse stories.
Main aims of the program
Make West Africa a large “market” for arts
To establish a network of collaboration representative of all the countries of the area.
Strengthen the capacities of the growing professional network
Favor the access to the culture for all to develop the sector
Create jobs by the arts of the narrative
Promote the tale and help to make it known in all its aspects (social, economic, artistic, and cultural)
Keep the oral traditions by the tools of telecommunication
To this end, the Compagnie Naforo-
The objective of the present call to application is to give the possibility to the draftsmen and the amateur or professional computer graphic designers to show their talent by executing a drawing.
The best drawing will be used as logo for Contecours. For that purpose, this logo will appear on all the supports of communication and the tools of visibility of this event.
RULES AND GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION
Article 1 : Eligibility
The candidate will have to be:
The age has to be between 18 years and 35 years as from January 1st, 2013
National and resident of one of the countries of the ECOWAS
Article 2 : Requirements of the logo
Being original, unique, easy to identify and not to confuse with other logos
Reflect the arts of the word, in particular the tale, and the values which they teach
Symbolize the African integration
Keep integrity in the use in diverse contexts(video, printing and others)
Rester efficace reproduit en grand ou en petit
Remain intact when it is used in big or small size
Aesthetic being in colors ( various colors), but also in a single color (in black and white)
Being capable of maintaining its integrity when it is printed on diverse materials and objects
Use the basic principles of the graphics (space, color, shape, consistency, and clarity (brightness)
Have a color simplified code ( extremely 3 basic colors) by combining clear colors and dark colors

Article 3 : Application
The interested candidates will have to register on: www.afreekan.net and:
a) Complete the form of participation
b) Upload the certified copy of the ID card (National ID card, Certificate of Identity or Passport) for proof of the membership in the space ECOWAS
c) Upload the conceived logo
If one of the documents misses, the application will be rejected.
Article 4 : Deadline of deposit of applications
The competition will have a duration of 45 days is from July 3rd till August 15th, 2013 deadline for the deposit of the various proposals.
Article 5 : Evaluation of the proposals
An international jury consisted of eleven countries of the action will choose the winning logo.
Article 6 : Notification to the winner
The name of the winner will be communicated during the press conference of the launch of Contecouron September 07th, 2013. He will receive an envelope of hundred thousand (100 000) CFA francs and a stay in Abidjan to attend the big final of the contecours.
Article 7 : Provision of the reward
The winner can have his gain (envelope of hundred thousand (100 000) CFA francs) in the course of the week consecutive during the press conference.
